Front “quadrilateral” double wishbone suspension: Quadrilateral because the way in which the wishbones connect to the wheels create a geometrical four-sided figure. Inherited from Formula 1, this suspension accentuates the stability of front wheel drive by modifying the angle of the axle on bends, giving the best possible grip. The idea is to keep the wheel always perpendicular to the road to get the best possible contact between the wheel surface and the road on bends. This translates as a great deal of extra stability and comfort.
MacPherson independent rear suspension: So that the trim and grip of the rear axle matches the quality and performance of the front double wishbone set-up, the rear configuration uses a highly evolved MacPherson system.
