Auto Sportiva Opens Alfa Romeo Center – The Flagship

Hong Kong – February 14, 2007 — 2007 Valentines’ day, the very day of Romance, Auto Sportiva Ltd (Auto Sportiva) opened its brand-new flagship 3S (Sales, Service and Spare parts) Alfa Romeo Centre (ARC) in Kowloon to celebrate the romance of Alfa Romeo race car technologies and engineering.

The new Alfa Romeo Centre is located at Unit B, 5 Wang Kee Street, Kowloon Bay. The Alfa Romeo Centre, with a total floor area of 12,000 sq. ft., is staffed by a team of talented and committed engineers and mechanics. The ARC’s focus is to offer Alfa Romeo customers the dedicated after-sales service using Alfa Romeo latest high-tech diagnostic equipment, thorough technical support and in-depth training. This thematic-designed and fully-equipped ARC stands out from the others in terms of architectures and design concept – a unique blend of lifestyle, contemporary ambience and professionally-treated configuration which unveils a fascinating Alfa Romeo passion.

To add luster to this remarkable opening, Auto Sportiva today also introduced the all-new Alfa Brera which captured lots of awards and prizes, including two “Best of Show” prizes awarded by Autoweek magazine at Geneva motor show and won the Elegance contest at Villa d’Este; “One of the most elegant cars in the world” held by Challenge Bibendum 2002 and “Most fascinating car” award granted at Super Car Rally 2002.

Alfa Brera has a unique style, that combines Giugiaro’s (the award winner of “Car Designer of the Century by Global Automotive Elections Foundation in 1999) creativity with Alfa Romeo’s unmistakable flair. The all new Alfa Brera provides a historical link to the past, yet its interior space and ride comfort have been designed around the throbbing heart of this vehicle of character – YOU, the one in the driving position. Alfa Brera makes no exception, as the case should be with a car born to guarantee top performance levels, together with a style of great visual impact. The long bonnet sweeps up a heavy feeling of contact to the road whilst the rear wider light cluster and four exhaust outlets strengthen the feeling of a powerful sports car, so do the tyres and stylish alloy rims. It is topped by forested glass roof to heighten passengers’ feeling of space and interior luminosity.

Alfa Brera comes with two choices of direct petrol injection engines either 185bhp 2.2 JTS or 260bhp 3.2 JTS V6. Powerful engines characterized by advanced technological design and solid performance. Brilliant 6 speed gearboxes, manual and Q-tronic both offer exciting performance and at the same time, suitable for everyday use.

Sportscar precision handling is crafted by Alfa Romeo unique high quadrilateral front suspension and multi link rear suspension. Tremendous grip with Q4 all-wheel-drive for 3.2V6 engine, sport and non-intrusive calibrated VDC, all add up to dynamism and ride comfort never before.

A car of character, with a charming style and top engineering design, these Alfa Brera distinctive features are supplemented by futuristic BiXenon headlamp, Automatic dual-zone climate control, Smart Key with “Press to Go” system. Alfa makes one further forward step into the field of coupes, 7 air bags occupants protection system.
